Ecole St Stanislaus School

This is a very special school where the love of learning and academic excellence are fostered through the medium of Canada's two official languages, French and English.  We believe that children are a unique and special gift from God where all people are created in His image.

St. Stanislaus provides children with a supportive Christian environment that fosters high achievement, responsibility, generosity, honesty, integrity, tolerance and the pursuit of individual excellence that will empower them to fully participate in our global community.

ecole St stanislaus School

Ecole St. Stanislaus School is a school within the Edmonton Catholic School District that serves the South West communities of Edmonton.  Our catchment area is widespread however, our small school size lends itself to knowing our clientele.  We are a single track French Immersion school, from kindergarten to grade 6 and we are committed to making our school a caring, Catholic community.

With the help of a strong School Council, an energetic and dedicated staff, and committed community we strive to ensure an excellent education for all students.

With you, and as a Catholic school, we aim to nurture your child in a Catholic environment so that s/he can grow up to be a successful, responsible and caring person.  Our Catholic values and beliefs continue to be a primary focus throughout our school.  We also actively pursue and establish a close partnership between home and school.

We are especially proud of our frequent communication with the home, our involved and committed School Council, our caring and experienced staff, and our high expectations for student behavior.

Through our French Immersion program, we seek to develop oral competency in both of Canada’s official languages – French and English.  We believe that learning other languages provides a variety of other opportunities for children and leads to increased understanding and acceptance among people.  And of course, as you would expect with a language based program, we focus on developing our students’ literacy skills.
